Well ahoy there, loyal readers, welcome to another of the Big B weekend update.

Marvel had a strong showing this week with a good number of their A-list titles hitting the rack with Captain America, Shadowland, Amazing Spider-Man, Avengers Prime, Doomwar and Deadpool Wade Wilson’s War being some of bigger ones. The current ASM storyarc; One Moment in Time is now doing it’s best to explain all the discrepancies caused by One More Day, so look forward to filling in all the gaps! Doomwar was a highly underrated series involving Doc Doom, Black Panther and Reed Richards in all all out war and the conclusion of this great series will result in a big change for Wakanda and the Black Panther.

DC had a much more subdued lineup this week with no big name titles arriving but there were a few titles of note. The always entertaining Jonah Hex, the solo Neil Adam’s drawn and written series Batman Odyssey and the Elsewhere worlds story; Superman: The First Family of Krypton is a what-if story where Superman’s parents survive the explosion of Krypton and make their new home on Earth. I’m fairly sure that this story hasn’t been done before, then again my memory is shoddy.

And if you aren’t readers of the big two, enjoy some Crossed Family Values, a second pringint of Sea Bear & Grizzly Shark, Irredeemable, Magnus Robot Fighter and Murderland!

For you action figure lovers out there, come by and pick up your Batman Reborn Series 1 that features Two-Face as Batman, Batgirl, Azrael and Jason Todd Batman.

Well, that’s all the time we have this week, this is the Big B Crew signing off reminding you to come by and pick up your Walking Dead trades before the AMC series hits. And don’ forget to see us at the Ancaster Silvercity next week for the opening of Scott Pilgrim.
