First off this book is crazy good, and Jim Cheung and Oliver Coipel art is outstanding some of the best I have ever seen, but right off the hop I would have called this book Avengers: Full Circle, instead of The Children’s Crusade. The Young Avengers Team is the fall out of House of M, and the Avengers Disassembled Story a-la a contringisty play by Vision to reformation of the Avengers in the event the team disbanded. (I guess he never planned for Luke Cage)

The major point of this story is that Young Avengers were going to search for the still missing Scarlet Witch, who single-handedly disassembled the Avengers and decimated the whole mutant species, so maybe it’s a good thing she is not around, But Wiccan and Speed think they might be the reincarnations of Wanda’s children. So who better to help then track down their Mother but her father, enter Magneto! Who is feeling paternal and the need for family and would like Wiccan and Speed to see him as their grandfather, and agrees to help.

While trying to fine the Scarlet Witch the Young Avengers cross paths with everyone from: the Avengers, New Avengers, Dr. Doom , Kang The Conqueror, X-Factor, X-Men, and many more in short this is a huge cast a REALLY HUGE CAST, everybody gets in on the fun.  There are some really well thought out moment’s in this book, from a nob back to Bendis’s  New Avengers #26, a one off  issue dealing with Wanda and Clint Barton, who as it turns out has a lot in common with Austin Powers issues with Fembots, N’uff said there. Along with a Lang Famlty rook swap, which clears up Scott Langs hate on for Dr. Doom in Marvel NOW FF solicitations I just read.

I am really happy this book is an event and treated like on and not as a crossover, but what it really should have been was a precursor for the Avengers vs. The X-Men Event, don’t believe me? BUY THIS BOOK YOU WILL!
