Indestructible-HulkDr. Bruce Banner also known as Dr. How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Gamma Bomb

Coming off his short lived but fantastic series The Incredible Hulk, The Indestructible Hulk is a continuation where Dr. Banner has finally got tired of everyone seeing him as a weapon of green destruction. While everyone else looks up to the pretty boys like Stark and Reed Richards! So he’s gone ahead and handed his services over to S.H.I.E.L.D. and not just as a scientist (because that would be boring) he has also handed over the services of “the Big Green Guy”.

I’m really enjoying this series for a few reasons. Mainly the exposition is awesome! It isn’t like other books where the characters are sitting around a conference room for 3 pages of talking before anything happens. These books are tight! The exposition is given during the fights or on the way to the fights! Never a dull moment. And even when there is a dull moment it’s incredibly short and finished off with either great jokes or ground breaking plot points. Perfect for A.D.H.D. kids like me!

It’s being written by Mark Waid and the art is Leinil Yu and if you’ve never heard of those guys you should go check out little titles such as The Flash, Captain America and Daredevil for Waid and New Avengers and X-Men for Yu! It’s fantastic and on issue 3 you should stop thinking about it and get it.
